TempMail ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the service:
- Session data — a temporary session cookie that holds your generated email address. It expires when your browser session ends or after 60 minutes.
- Email messages — messages sent to your temporary address are stored on our server only for the duration of your session and are permanently deleted afterward.
- Server logs — standard web-server access logs (IP address, timestamp, request path) retained for up to 7 days for abuse prevention.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not require registration or personal information.
- We do not track you across websites.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
3. Cookies
We use one strictly necessary session cookie to associate your browser with your temporary inbox. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
4. Data Retention
All inbox data (email messages and inbox folders) is automatically purged after 60 minutes. Server access logs are retained for 7 days.
5. Third-Party Services
This site may use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. Visit Google's Advertising Policies to learn more.
6. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
